Kig op – se dig omkring når den internationale kunstnerduo LIVING LENSES (Louise Bertelsen & po Shu Wang) med gæstekunstnere indtager byen og udforsker det urbane rum.
Fra d. 19.-20. september kan du møde dem på din vej gennem byen; du finder dem i lygtepæle, på husfacader, gesimser, gadeskilte, torve og stræder. Med deres improviserede og højst ’upassende’ brug af byens rum, giver LIVING LENSES os en fantastisk mulighed for at se byen - og os selv - med nye øjne.
[UK] LIVING LENSES (Louise Bertelsen & Po Shu Wang) with Guest Artists explore public spaces of Aarhus through unannounced IMPROPERBAVISATION, by playing between probability, improperness, and improvisation. While the artists do not intent to disrupt the overall social score of the existing civic symphony, they do hope that some ‘wild notes’ will be generated within the witnessing public. LIVING LENSES’ subject matters are bits and pieces of everyday reality out there in public places, where they act as Living Lenses to draw focus on the conscious and unconscious layers of meaning of a civic space, letting conventional associations mutate toward unforeseen directions.
